Overall I have enjoyed this course and the blog experiences, I had never created a blog before so that was a new activity for me that I liked. I thought that each one of the weekly blog assignments was interesting and relative to our lives, assignments such as these are the types I like the most because I can see how it can be applied to my life, and understanding technology beyond just being a consumer. I think that one of the most important parts of this course were learning the pros and cons of technology and how we use it (more like depend on it) to communicate with one another. I also enjoyed reading and responding to other people's blogs because it gave me the opportunity to look at other situations and opinions that I may not have considered. The most beneficial part of this class in my opinion was the blogs, it is a way to bring our class together even though we are not physically together, we learn about each other and each other's lives. I liked all of the blog assignments because it gave me opportunities to try out new internet activities such as joining an online community or understanding the technology differences between generations which I probably would not have done on my own. The reading was beneficial because each person in the class noticed different parts of the chapter that they felt was more important or they found were interesting. It was intriguing to read other classmates discussion board posts because it made it easier to recall parts of the chapter that I may have found confusing or not as important. By reading other discussion board posts I was able to see what other people thought of the chapter and get new insights.
The course as a whole was very insightful and gave me new ways to look at technology and how I use it to benefit my life.
